Guest Designer for Die Cuttin Divas.

Hello,

Today I'm really pleased to have been asked to be the guest designer over at   Die Cuttin Divas blogspot
and this time around it is anything goes.
So I have made for you something new! Yes it is a card "but not as we know it". It has no back to it, it is more like a huge tag. I have a verse on the back but it requires a stand to keep it up for display. When it is finished with it may go in a shadow box. This card is in fact my anniversary card to my husband.

I have used a new product to me called a Dutch Doobadoo which are available in many different designs and this one is called   -111Shape-Art-A4-Square-2. and it is available here at Noor Design! UK Shop .

I cut out the base layer in cream cardstock and then using the next layer in the stencil I cut the pink paper which I then ran through an embossing folder and brushed over with Antique Linen ink. The black frame is by Tim Holtz and the sentiments are by Verve  and this set is called Love Everlasting
I stamped them on to the same cream cardstock as the base card and cut the main sentiment out using a stitched die and added a red mat under it. The other I hand cut with the same two mats under. I added some cheesecloth and then centered it all on top.
I then gathered together 3 flowers from Ribbon Girl , a heart pin and some twiddly bits and added them to the left hand side. I had kept the pearl heart off something else and added that along with 3 shades of red gems and clear sequins and I was done.

I'd like to thank Georgiana for giving me this opportunity, I follow her blog and am always amazed at her wonderfully bright makes (comes from living in the sunshine state I guess) I hope you all enjoy your day. Leave a comment or two as its always nice to see who has stopped by.

Golden Day

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you all a card I made today using this weeks Mojo-Monday sketch #499 . It's a really easy to use sketch and I will probably use it again.

This is for friends who will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary soon. I have made a square 6x6 card blank in soft cream and then using papers from my stash I have layered up the card. You can't tell from this shot but the "just for you" is the 4th layer up. I have used foam pads to give lift.
The banner is by Verve.  and the 50 is cut using my Sissix Die.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can leave a few words as it's always nice to read them.

Dream 2017

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made for my neice who has just started her school exams. I wanted her to know that we were all thinking about her and wishing her well.

I took a 6x6 bright white card blank and to that I added this lovely Lawn Fawn paper but not before I had distressed the edges. Then taking a plain blue and yellow card matching the stripes I added a piece of this butterfly paper and notelet paper to each and set them off at a jaunty angle. I cut the 2017 out of the same card.
Then I cut 2 circles and added to them my sentiments. To one I added a spare butterfly. A free pearls
and we are ready.
Thanks for stopping by today, leave a few words so I know who's stopped by.

Picture Perfect

Hello,

Where did those 15 days go? Well it's time for a quick reminder post for  bestieschallenge.blogspot.   and this time I have a card for you.

For this card I made a 6x6 card blank and covered it in this blue paper. I recently purchased some Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art stencils and used 111Shape-Art-A4-Square-2  to make the mat. I cut out the first in off white and then down a size for the yellow one, I distressed the edges and ran a yellow pen around the raw edges. To that I added a thin gross grain red ribbon and added a separate bow and green tassel.

The image is Selfi Fluffy Bestie  and I've coloured her in with my Promarker pens. I made sure she had red shoes to go with the ribbon. I used a stitched die to cut her out and matted her on to a red distressed oval.
I used my simply amazing  stamps and dies for the sentiments. Then to finish off I added 3gems to the top right and bottom left.

Please come along and join in, there is a theme running and its use ribbon or lace. If you do you get extra chances.

Thanks for stopping by, leave a few words so I know you've been.

Boxer Boy!

Hi,
It's reminder day over at coloritcreateitshowitoff.blogspot.  and today I have decided to make a card for someone I know who loves his boxing!
I recently purchased this cute little boxer guy IMG731 which you can find here my besties shop.com along with quite a few other cute little guys.

I made a denim blue 6x6 card base and took the blue plaid paper and matted that on to grey dot paper. I made 2 tabs out of the grey and stuck them down and added a blue brad to each then I attached the paper to the card. the main paper is double sided so I cut a strip of that and added that to the centre but not before wrapping lime green thread around it.
I coloured in my image using Promarker pens and cut him out using a oval die matting him on to some lime green card. I used the same green card under the sentiment and on the 2 tabs. I punched out some tiny stars from the card base and the green and dotted them about to finish off.  I added some crystal lacquer to the gloves too.

Ok so now its over to you! Come and share your creations with us.

Romantic Anniversary.

Morning,

Well it started out pleasant but now its turned overcast again here in Milton Keynes! I'm sure it is suppose to be spring!

I'd like to share with you today a card I have made to celebrate a Anniversary (not mine).

This started out as a 6x6 white card blank and on to that I added the tiny flower paper which I picked up in a local store. Then I added lots of left over treasures from a crop held by Chrissy of Merly Impressions.
The papers are from the treasured-moments collecion by kaisercraft I just loved this kit and purchased extra papers.
As you can see I distressed the edges and inked and everything went down with glue gel for lift. The lace is beautiful, made from cream cotton. I also added pearls just to finish off.

Thanks for stopping by today, leave a word so I know who's been.

Colour it, gift bag.

Hello,

Today I'm here to share with you my make for the new challenge over at Color it, create it show it off blogspot This time I decided to make a gift bag. I covered it with this lovely blue leafy paper after ripping and inking it.
Then from corresponding paper in the pack I cut a brown plaid strip and added to that a strip of paper which has script on it. I punched 4 holes and tied in ribbon.

I cut some open leaves and added them above the strip. I added some cheesecloth and then the sentiment on top of that. I added this cute little image Twinkle Toe Troll and the second sentiment on a small flag at the bottom. A few rose buds and blue sequins and we are done.

I do hope you'll come and join in with us as there are prizes to be won. As always we are a Anything Goes challenge.

Peek A Boo, I see you!

Hi there,

Well yet another month has gone by and now it's time to start a new challenge over at bestieschallenge.blogspot.  As always it's a Anything Goes challenge but there is also a theme and this month it is "add some ribbon or lace".

I have added some ribbon to my card but also I have used this beautiful new die I picked up at Ally Pally last month which is very lacy.

I took some kraft card to make this slightly odd sized card 5x6!! and added to that this pretty plaid paper. As the colours in it were quite spring like I went to town in using different colours on the rest of the card.
I coloured my img963 using my Promarker pens and  fussy cut her out. I cut the frame out in pink and a shadow frame in blue I added a white circle behind the pink and then attached both together using silicon glue. I then attached it to the card base.
I used 3 flowers off to one side with a couple of leaves and twiddly bits, then a bee and a fancy butterfly. I added the image with silicon to lift her slightly as her pigtails fell over the edge of the frame.
The sentiment was matted on to some blue and layed over a ribbon strip. A few gems and we are done.

Now it's your turn to share your makes with us. We'd love to see more "none Bestie DT's" joining in with us so you can have a chance at winning the prizes more.

Thanks for stopping by today, leave a word or two so I know who's been by!
